The Ming Sun Benevolent Society is a small clan organization that my late grandpa had helped found in Vancouver, B.C.; from this organization came some of Canada’s first:
… and a number of sons of the Ming Sun fought for Canada, during the second World War to earn the right to become full Canadian citizens.
The society was recently honoured by the Mayor and Council of the City of Vancouver with a special day and a proclamation in honour of its 85th anniversary.
